Perspectives change Perceptions of Perspective Changes

Someday this needed to happen, the ranting has been waiting in the queue of SILENCE for the chance to be heard… Waking up at 0600hrs on a Sunday morning isn’t a regular Dee ‘thing to do’ and since I woke up a million thoughts have been passing my mind, bringing a smile and asking me to write. It is sometimes rather funny how these sequences play out in my head, its almost like there’s an AMUSEMENT park at play when I wake up in the morning. The flood of thoughts lead my day, often, to a lot of people’s worry (Please read, FAMILY and REAL CLOSE FRIENDS) ;)

The title of this piece is a thought… that has become a thing… and the key to the change in perspective has been a new relationship with just one word “GRATITUDE”. Its the latest on my list of VICES ;) and I can promise you, being in a state of Gratitude Awareness is the most brilliant expansion of VISION, than I have ever experienced before.

When I started writing my first book… (just for the record, its only 6 chapters old, right now)… I didn’t realise, it was going to lay the foundation for an all new beginning. Its brilliant how each chapter almost dictates itself and the perspective view of how things ARE and WHY they ARE the way they ARE, presents itself in a brilliant new vision. It is so fascinating how simple life really is, when we are in sync with the CORE personality, we see things differently and CHANGE isn’t difficult anymore, it becomes a natural part of who we are. It is also, most wonderful to notice how THOUGHTS in our heads, which we choose to ignore, become the words our friends/family tend to use in communication with us.

The first chapter of my book brought in its finale, a new line into my stream of thoughts “In Gratitude to ALL THAT IS for ALL THAT IS” which has an insanely contagious effect on every aspect of my life. The beauty of continued usage finds a new spectacular readying itself for OPENING NIGHT… Hurdles feel like ladders… Problems present their own solutions… Without getting restless you’re led to the NEXT step. All that you crib about, presents itself differently. Its like being READY all the time, BRING IT ON LIFE… all I need to do is THANK IT AWAY.

The other day, I was asked a question, the impromptu answers brought a brilliant new extension and explanation and PERSPECTIVE :) Which in itself fascinated me… less for the content, which incidentally I think is brilliant!! more for the joy of understanding how beautifully two random conversations, began and ended from different perspectives, come together to form a BELIEF… in this case it all comes back to GRATITUDE!!

"Life is... An Essay" Part I : Introduction Part II: Research and Part III: Verdict ;). That is why when we're "LITTLE, KNOWLEDGE IS DANGEROUS"!!

someone told me to face reality... ;-) and I turned to the mirror and smiled and said ;-)... "Its Brilliant". To which I got a rather worried reply "What's so freaking BRILLIANT about the way things ARE? " and I smiled again "The perspective." YOUR PERSPECTIVE CREATES THE REALITY YOU EXPERIENCE ;-) and after reading this he called to ask "what if the mirror is broken?" I couldn't help but giggle and say "different perspective of the same point of view and the joy of being CONFUSED" ha ha

"LIFE is a series of breaths... Punctuated with experiences to draw our GRATITUDE to Breath ;-)

Now, I look at ALL THAT IS and am filled with AWE!! its brilliant to feel the million thoughts wait to become things… It’s fascinating, that I learn more from my 4 year old nephew Veer than he can ever learn from me. It is brilliant that I can sense what is good from all that is seemingly bad and the most beautiful part of it all… I am able to truly accept my experiences with joy, knowing that all it will take for things to change is to visit a new perspective.

Damn, I didn’t realise calling Gratitude a VICE would make it even more tempting… ;) ;) try Gratitude!!

The Manifesting Way of Life

Idle thoughts maketh for great writing.

In my thoughts, there is a resurgent belief, EVERYTHING does happen for a reason… and the reason doesn’t always present itself in the present. Its like a surprise waiting to be discovered. A quick retrospect and I realise the power of idle thoughts, each of them have had the pleasure of manifesting in different degrees. These are the ones I’ve noticed.

The power of manifesting is when you have a thought, don’t follow through and then you hear the words ‘I TOLD YOU SO” so loud in your head that you are able to remember the specific moment, nothing and the one prompt you got, turned a deaf ear and then FORGOT!!

I had a moment like that this morning, am so excited about the learning. 2 days ago, I found my ipod connector on mum’s rack, super happy, though I was in the middle of looking for someone else, I kept it back somewhere there. I heard prompt, “keep it safely or you won’t be able to find it when you need”. Busy Dee that I am, I brushed away the thought to focus on what I was looking for then. For the last couple of hours I’ve been searching for the freaking connector and you guessed it… for the love of all the memory in the universe, this one eludes me. Now, all that is doing the rounds of my head… “I TOLD YOU SO!!!”

This is one of the smaller incidents, maybe its meant to be shared, a brilliant example of how we should follow the prompts!! Maybe an even greater learning, that I have a connect with guides at every moment of my day, just that more often than not, I turn a deaf ear to their constant chatter.

In meditation one day, I wrote the entire script of a conversation that came true 2 months later and changed the course of my life. The trill of manifestations, especially the ones you remember are a clear sign of the power of the mind in creating the reality you live.

Are there times that this process is scary… well YES!!! There are times when you receive messages that aren’t too exciting or you manage to say something you didn’t mean and the fear of manifestation brings it into reality. Its funny though, a couple of weeks back, I sensed a friend getting too overbearing, I didn’t seem to enjoy their company, it hurt to tell them to scoot off, at the same time, I knew something wasn’t right at all. It was the vibrations I picked up in their presence which seemed to weigh down on my energies. While I didn’t want them around, there wasn’t a nice way to say it. There is NEVER a nice way to say oUTA HERE!! In the week that followed, they stopped calling or asking if they could come over, its like they eased out, wanted their space. While, first finding out that they were infact behaving like SHIT, did hurt, then the voice within said, “Happy Manifesting”. Like a flash, the thoughts of their last visit flashed and I knew the source. Amazing isn’t it! without saying a word a lot simply happened and YES it was a manifestation of my thought… without any provocation from me, the hurt feelings don’t exist, for there is no memory to trigger it! Loving the manifesting!!!

The power of BEING AWARE OF MANIFESTATIONS also brings with it, huge responsibility. There is an immediate need to EDIT thoughts before the set into motion. It is an auto move to say the right things, feel the right emotions, take control of immediate thoughts. Is it easy to always stay tuned… NO… Each time you pin point the exact moment of the shift and breathe yourself back into the awareness of the present moment, you conquer another realm of learning to lean how to manifest. Another very important part in manifesting, is to be AWARE of emotions all around you, especially the emotions that come from people whom you truly truly trust. They have the power to influence your awareness. These challenges apart, manifesting is a cake walk.

Just as I decided to end this note, another thought comes my way… “Had you found the connector, you wouldn’t have been blogging”… the voice fades out… time for me find the connector and I can promise you, it will find me… and I shall feel silly, for some thought would’ve prompted me to go there… before this :))

Happy Manifesting!!

Good Friday

The name of the day in the normal flow of life is pretty misleading. Good Friday isn’t a day of jubilant celebration in is a day of spiritual celebration. This is the day in the Christian calendar that marks the end of life as we all know it and the beginning of a greater life. 21viernessanto

While I’ve given you a link on my favourite information site on the subject of Good Friday. I’d like to share with you my own personal agenda for this day. For me, this year a new thought has given this day a whole new twist and a bright new meaning. I am hoping that a lot of new see this new perspective of Good Friday as a step forward in your quest for a new understanding of your own motivations in life.

Jesus, was a simple man, his belief made him extra ordinary and that is what he wants as an experience of him for each one of us. Its easy to be an ordinary person, with ordinary belief, live an ordinary life and die an ordinary death. He wants for us to take a closer look at how his life changed when he took an extra ordinary step. To believe most in the power of his thought, of course, the route isn’t easy, the The Stations of the Cross is like his walk down memory lane of the 33 years he walked the earth, his belief, that he was so special to the Creator that, in remembrance of his death and resurrection each one of us will lead more inspired lives. CDAStations

Jesus, underwent all of this to let us know, that we are equally special, that our problems, no matter how big in our minds, is pale in front of that which he was put through, that we must derive strength to take on our little problems HEAD ON. How many times do we allow our problems to weigh on our enthusiasm, love and health? If we could take one quick look at Jesus’ problems, would not our problems pale? Would we then, not be moved to saying Thank you Jesus?  We are motivated to hurt and grieve by problems created by us. Jesus, allowed the most cruel infliction upon himself, only for us to understand just that… what a power sacrifice… what a brilliant example of an extra ordinary life, made extra ordinary and life changing by vision.

Jesus, lived a simple life with an extra ordinary belief in humanity. He reached out by choice not by compulsion. He was moved by his deep belief in God’s creation, a human being. As he continued his sharing and healing, Jesus wanted us to know something very simple, when you share of yourself with another human being, you lift his spirit to share and thus is created a ripple of goodness. How many times, are we truly able to reach out and create special moments for people other than ourselves? Don’t we first want to know HOW we benefit? How many times, have we taken life in our stride and truly believed that everything does happen for the best!!ist2_2481766-grandma-and-granddaughter

My experiences with Jesus began when I was all of 2-3 years. My Dadima repeats this story each time, she needs to tell a story of me. Its most beautiful when she tells it. I am going to shorten, really shorted the version for the essence of it.

Dadima: “Deepa, you don’t ask me any questions. Kittu, asks so many! Where does the sun go in the night? Where do the stars go in the day?”. Deepa looks back at her Dadima, most amused, that she should be making such a statement or questioning her knowledge skills and replies, “That is because I know it.” Dadima is even more curious to know what her little grandchild is so confident in knowing and asks, “then, you tell Dadima!”. Deepa smiles and says “Because Jesus wants it!!!”

Simple!!

To this day, this holds true for me. Jesus has been telling me what to do, where to go? How to tackle everyday. How to face the pain? How to share the pain? How to live my life in his guidance… each day is a miracle I live in trusting his design for my life. He in turn, is so generous with giving me more reasons to live in gratitude. Thank you Jesus. Today, through this new understanding of his motivation to be crucified, comes a greater humility to follow his footprint. He isn’t counting the steps, nor is he asking me to keep the pace in the world set to race. He has just let me know once again, that he does have every answer, if and only if I am ready to listen and follow.prayer_01

Here my friends is what Jesus wants us to know this Good Friday and as I write this, I believe, with all my heart, that I receive this just as the 3 year old received this 30 years ago, with faith and pure innocence. I know not what you will derive from it, or what you will hold on to… all I know is that I must share it!

Jesus didn’t do this for a particular community or religion. He did this for every creation of God, he took the path less tread that we may know it and release our own burden.

Jesus, healed, you can heal too. Just know that you were created with a free will. Free will to be an extra ordinary human being with special powers, each power is waiting for you to claim it.

Jesus, prayed for long hours, not to save himself, he did it so as to be able to hear the voice of the creator so clearly, that no matter what the reality projected into his conscious mind, he just KNEW. Spend time in silence, silence is a prayer. Silence is the is the door that opens you up to a life greater than expected or accepted.prayer

Jesus, spoke and shared his thoughts. He did this for memories to live on. He spoke, that we might repeat it. We must find time to quieten our minds each day, to receive divine guidance and pump in every iota of faith into these words of wisdom, that we might continue to be blessed and bless each breath with gratitude, for the only time we most fear the loss of a breath, is when we feel we may never breath again..

Remember, to live each day cheerfully following your deepest instinct, there is nothing more rewarding than truly believing. Create a memory each day, these are the stories that will live beyond your living years.

I am so grateful for the joy of receiving this, for sharing it and for a new perspective on living it. EasterEggsGetty460

Before I sign off this post, here is a simple way to make the breakthrough of life you’ve always been WAITING for! This Sunday is Easter, the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. Let this be a day marked to give yourself a brand new perspective on life. Buy an Easter Egg, the symbol of new life, for from an egg a chicken is born! In cracking it open, believe, that you have triggered a new beginning for the rest of your life. The more fun you create around the ceremony of cracking open the egg. The more significant a memory you’ll create of the day you decided to chance your very perspective. easter-eggs-jesus

Good Friday, you are the gift Jesus gave me. Thank you for being my guide and wisdom.

Christmas Presence

Catching up with the thoughts in my head is getting a little easier now...

Just yesterday, I had this fantastic idea of wanting to take a flight to Delhi and get away for the weekend, went online looked for tickets for Goa instead...is there something insanely wrong.... nah... 2 weeks to Goa and I am still wondering if I really really want to go.

This year Christmas is going to be different... I am starting a new year of my life with a completely new experience, should I be excited... well... I guess YES!! what is missing is the familiarity of my Christmas in Delhi.

Midnight mass at Cathedral with the regulars... well ... most of us meet  twice a year... Easter Mass and  Christmas mass... what is so beautiful... are the warmest hugs and the wonderful conversation... there is a sense of completeness. Its mighty cold in Delhi on the 24th night...

The first sound you hear while entering the cathedral compound is the strains of the choir... and for the fact that it was once all of us singing in the cold, we've changed and so has the choir... and whoever said we are good sports is wrong... we find fault in almost every song, its either too shrill or too loud or too something or the other, the truth is... at Christmas is when we most miss being in the choir... its such an uplifting experience... memories are witness of the fantastic time we've spent singing... getting our vocal chords trained and letting every word hold its own. Gasper & Fr. Paul... brilliant!!! The mass format has changed, certain parts seem commercial, the sermons are politically correct, the love is genuine... and the most special part... well... "Peace be with you"... atleast that is my favouritest part of the mass... it is simply uplifting to turn to just about anyone you can see and wish them the same.

Midnight mass ends with a huge hug to the family, ensuring that they are the first ones you wish... that is before the cellphone begs to be wished too and noticed. Then comes the social networking time... often conversations focus on the freezing temperature and the number of people diminishing for midnight mass... and well... phone  numbers are exchanged over coffee and cake... and promises to keep in touch... are made... smiled at... and then we figure... well... we'll meet for Easter midnight mass :)

While we're busy doing our chatting bit, we all also want to get home soon. There's a tree surrounded with Christmas presents waiting to be opened... there is cake waiting to be cut ... and we're hoping we didn't forget to ensure that there is enough milk for all of us. The drive home, is all about the goss we'd just been a part of, the conversations with long lost church pals and the sermon of course, which every year has something really special or spooky.

This year may not be the same... this year... there isn't cake being made... or a tree being decorated back home... this year has been a year of many changes... I changed city... changed profession... changed focus... and in the flurry of change... well I guess I forgot to check and see what else is changing. So, it looks like I am going to Goa for Christmas... and I so believe its going to be really special.

There is a new experience waiting to unfold... Goa... here I come :D
