Assume is a beautiful word…

For the last three whole years I’ve learnt to GO WITH GRATITUDE & GROW WITH GRATITUDE in a more practice makes perfect life accepting way. The results are absolutely phenomenal, even to the naked eye ;)

OneNess is a gift, a product of Gratitude in Action and Reaction really, it’s the pause that reveals WHY a particular event or occurrence takes place. The thrill of Gratitude is in the KNOWING of this simple truth. It is true for my experiences, that Gratitude for the KNOWING has triggered a series of events that have in fact brought all of life together and helped me focus on growth.

There was a time, when I would notice updates from other event managers and feel anxious, that my brand is growing pretty slowly. Gratitude for their work, moved me to introspect and these brilliant moments of introspection led to new ideas on what I really wanted to do and these ideas have found shape in building relationships today that are part of my brand growth of tomorrow.

As an entrepreneur, it is essential to keep focused on the vision and make provision for it to grow large enough to accommodate personal growth, brand growth and social growth of the brand and all those associated with it. Assume plays a vital role…. to assume is to make a practiced path forward towards a specific result. More often than not… ASSUME is CONSUMED with “Make Believe” taken literally. The connotation is the essence and you get to CHOOSE and your CHOICE is the path forward to a specific result.

My many assumes are the reason why I have reached where I am. I assumed the roles of my thoughts and have grown. I have learnt to say YES to experiments and experience the results as I have assumed them to play out, keeping a single minded focus on the COMPLETION, as ASSUMED. As I look forward I am reminded how powerful moments of ASSUMPTIONS with GRATITUDE have in fact co-inspired my present learning and knowing.

Often, as an event manager you are called to CONCEPTUALISE an event OUTCOME and all that you do have, to begin with, is ASSUMPTIONS. YOU assume your role in the project as the creator of the final outcome and the plan works out backwards, in every row, is an assumption worked backwards from the result and served to the client. Every detail is assumed.

We assume roles in our lives… we live out many roles in the ACT OF LIVING. We assume the role, then we play it according to the rules of the role as defined by those who’ve ASSUMED the roles before us. Now and again, we make a new CHOICE and with this new choice, we begin a new series of roles and rules. We don’t question the roles or the rules of the role, for when we assume what exists we learn to adjust to the frameWORK put in by history, passed on through the ASSUMES of lineage and we make a tradition of it.

I look at the assumes that have created my life ….

I assumed the role of a responsible elder sister, when my mom made the statement “because you are the eldest you have to be an example to your sisters”

I assumed the role of a student when I began school and to this day I remain learning and reminding myself, that I only need to assume as per my dreams and I am confident that I will fit into the role.

I assumed as a child that “ because Jesus wants it”, then came “everyone is born with a purpose”, “I was not created to so small things”, “Jesus

I assumed the role of a teenager when I turned 13, then I grew to an adult at 18, then I joined the workforce at 19, then an entrepreneur at 33 and now at 36 I am readying my self to assume a new role… wife… and with it comes a whole new plethora of experiences and assumes that will pave the way to the finale when I prep myself to assume the role of a soul in celebration of the completion of the journey we know as LIFE.

I assumed the role of a singer when someone, first helped me recognise I had a brilliant voice, then my first choir experience, then my first solo in school when I came second, then my first choir solo in church, then my first public performance at rashtrapati bhavan, then my first prize for singing in school, then my representing my school at the state level as a singer, my first studio recording for an ad, then my first club singing assignment, then many other experiences of singing… recording my song for the first time and sharing it with my social world and now a new role beckons as a lead singer of a band…

I assumed the role of a writer when I wrote my first poem in school, then my first play, then my first journal, then my first blog post, my first response to a thread of a community, then I learnt to write from my responses, then my first book in which I compiled and shared the simple truth I learnt from our sharing and now a book about experiments and experiences I’ve practiced

I assumed the role of an entrepreneur when we first got together as a group of kids to earn, then with my jobs to learn and now my own brand to practice what I learnt and create my own experiences, which I now share… each time I get an opportunity to speak… each time I speak a new idea is born and with it begins a brand new level of being an entrepreneur.

I assumed my roles as I met them and along the way in accepting these new roles, which my great assumption was, that it will lead me to running my own brand led global corporation on one day!! Today I smile upon the excitement that with an agency and a foundation that a couple of steps have already been taken and the new ones will reveal themselves as I continue to make choices and assume new futures in thought and assume new roles in action. It is this thrilling experience of ASSUMING that leads to innovation and growth. We are blessed to make choices in the knowing that we are a GLOBAL CORPORATION in the making… and this shall be made possible through the many different ASSUMES I will meet on my own path to completion of the grand vision of my soul journey on the earth NOW and then when I am back in the formlessNess of OneNess, through the many who will choose their ASSUME and evolve in creating from another CHOICE a NEW ASSUME for the Future!!

I assume that in sharing this with you, I am sharing the powerful assumes that I am so grateful for and in this recognising… I also accept the many assumes I haven’t written about but sure am thinking about… Assuming with a Grateful heart creates a rainbow of reasons to celebrate life. It is amazing when you look at the world of assume… and how it has played out in your life, you recognise, that the process of assume is the divine driver of all that is part of the visual process. Assume is SILENT GROWTH, without expecting, without demanding… it simply moves you to RECOGNISE the silence of “MYSTERIOUS WAYS OF GRATITUDE” delivering your PURPOSE TO YOU through ASSUMPTION.

Assume is a beautiful word and creates a beautiful world… when we look back and see how Life is a series of ASSUMES…evolving with every choice!!!

Here’s wishing you a journey to ASSUME the YOU, you were created to BE!!

The most beautiful way to celebrate “Woman’s Day” is to find the pride within… to set F.R.E.E and accept the MASTER’s PIECE within YOU!!

So, with the blessed intent to inspire YOU I am taking the big risk of opening the BIG BUBBLY that I KNOW to be ME!!

I have been told often… that I am talented… yet… I have kept my talent undercover for reasons only my “FEARS” knew best to this day!!

While growing up… my greatest competition has been with me!! It isn’t always fun to be “the limelight” it comes with the pressure of always “bettering your last effort” and that is an unrelenting pressure, phew!!

So, this year… as a special gift of ACCEPTING myself and all that I would like to be… I have decided to set F.R.E.E. the talents I know exist!!

The first talent I ever explored… Singing!! Sang in school, sang in church, sang at parties… even tried singing at a club!! Got applauded… for the talent… got battered for the visual (fat) girl who could never “Make it large” Then again… my voice has been my greatest gift ever… for when I sing… I live a full life through the song… I love myself more… I accept myself more… Music has been my form of EXPRESSION… and every song I have ever sung… has taught me to G.I.V.E my all to it!

So, here’s my song… my first recording… and I took this big step of actually fighting my recoding fears for a very special person in my life… my younger sister… Prema Evelyn D’Cruz who has been my “GO FOR IT, LIVE YOUR DREAM” energy. Another person, whom life wouldn’t be complete without Ashok Singh my best friend of over 24 years.

I don’t know what I am nervous about… judgment or rejection… yet… I am so grateful though… for the talent of singing I am blessed with…

In claiming my place as the LUCKIEST WOMAN IN THE UNIVERSE!! The other day… I began to see… the LUCKIEST WOMAN’s point of view… of herself… and NOW I am not afraid anymore to ACCEPT the WHY of it

I am setting my favourite talent F.R.E.E (For.Receiving.Everlasting.Enthusiasm) that I may ACCEPT that to “G.I.V.E (Gratitude.Inspired.Vision.Exchange) to KNOW.ALLOW.ACCEPT.MANIFEST!!

 

Romancing Destiny ;)

Well well… another girly post… now I guess, I am beginning to see a little different side to romance, than I have romanced all my life!! The power of romancing my dreams to reality so long, that romancing in any other format, is but a brief flight of fantasy. A short walk on the side line of a perfectly power manifested life .

My idea of Prince Charming, well, has kept changing shape and density, with each prospect I met. As I look back with Gratitude… I can understand how wonderful each of them are… each bringing me closer to understanding what I truly do want from a relationship… and I realise… the reason for my inability to hold on… hold strong and take any relationship to the AISLE conclusion has nothing to do with the individuals… my decisions were never about them to start off with…

Well, that calls for a round of applause… for each of you, who tolerated me… spoilt me rotten… gave my dreams priority, still loved me enough to let me be me and last but not the least… married your perfect soul mate… that I may never look back with regret! My today is so beautiful because of YOU!! Thank You!!

Much to the grievance of my kid sisters ranting over the years… that I needed to mellow down a little… as they put it… “Dee, you are so intimidating, you need to mellow down. No man will tolerate your tantrums beyond a point. You need to take care of yourself, lose weight and learn to be more woman like” Trust me… I did try… ha ha ah… with comical results… I suddenly became a damsel in distress… looking out for boyfriend dearest to come up with solutions… so he’d feel good about taking care of things for me… DISTRESS SIGNAL… all his solutions… well.. turned out to be “Ignore it Raja, you don’t have to worry about things that don’t have anything to do with you”… well, that meant… stopping being the natural “Free Consultant” to manifesting love and excitement in the many lives I work with… to disconnect with them… I felt disconnected with the ME, who loves… connecting with people and learning.

oops!! and may I add… this is how… we (my happy ex-boyfriend and I) began to get to know each other and like each other too… . When he found my profile on Orkut… the free advice… by the post… built his curiosity enough to send me a friend request

Some of us, are geared for life by understanding that the greatest source of our joy and happiness comes from within us… waiting to exhale and BE!! More often than not, therefore, we come across as

SELF ABSORBED (which we are), we’ve managed to learn a lot about ourselves first… our pluses, minuses, weaknesses, strengths, positives and negatives…

INTIMIDATING (which we seem to do quite unintentionally),

ARROGANT (maybe, but we’ve spent a quality part of our lives, depending on ourselves).

RIGID (we know what we want, it’s sad that you see it a bad thing),

JUDGEMENTAL (We may sound like that… we have learned to defend ourselves enough to take responsibility for our own actions and lethargy… we don’t blame you for it… do we? We’re pretty aware of our weaknesses, we’ve chosen to embrace them… and work on them pretty conveniently).

LONERS well yes… only on Valentine’s Day though… when the whole world is walking in two’s!! For the rest of the year… well… we have so many dreams working themselves into our reality… that more often, we NEED our own space to allow ourselves the pleasure of being absorbed in making them realities… trust me… with a vision in your mind… there is very little time to be lonely… so many thoughts keep racing through our minds… waiting to CONVERT into something more concrete!

FLIRTS… well WE ARE!! We flirt around with the idea of being in love… all the time. Often finding someone who doesn’t fit the bill… to confirm for ourselves the relevance of why they don’t (just being mean ) We FLIRT around with finding solutions to life’s problems… Just like, life flirt’s around with our single status to remind us of what LIFE WOULD LIKE US TO HAVE! We constantly flirt around with the status “COMMITTED” to test our threshold.

IMPATIENT we ARE!! We take a lot of impulsive decisions and watch them evolve!! We find it difficult to understand, why people take forever to take the next step… sometimes, we realise, they’re still looking for “LOOPHOLE” to fix before they take the BIG RISK!! That means they’re not confident of themselves… it rarely ever has anything to do with us! We don’t understand how people can hold on to a story long enough for it to be cancerous… life is too short to WAIT for the RIGHT MOMENT… NOW is the ONLY TIME you have… every decision we make is in the NOW, then why make us WAIT… Do you think we’ve got nothing better to do… than WAIT… for you to FIX the UNBROKEN, till you actually land up breaking it… to FIX IT!!

Ha ha ha… I could go on with this list… and love every word that it represents… YET today… the purpose is to lay to rest… the JEST and let you in to the secret of Prince Charming that I NOW hold in my vision… He is, somewhere, looking to find ME… then again… He is meant to RECEIVE the COMPLETE ME!! The PACKAGE DEAL of madness… dreams… and absolute confidence… that LIFE is COMPLETE as it IS!

I don’t know HOW… but I KNOW he’ll find me… and when he does… I’ll KNOW it!! For in all that I am… HE already IS… waiting to evolve again… with me… into WE!!

Happy Valentine’s Day to ALL OF YOU!! May you be complete in who you are before you BEGIN to EVOLVE again… with more love than your heart can imagine…YET!!

On our happy first… at DeePositive Intertainment we’d like to introduce you to another happy first…

Our First IPR at DeePositive “Santa Workshop”

…And OUR first expansion into creating a more Gratitude filled DeePositive experience DeePositive Foundation!!

365 days of being DeePositive is a reason to celebrate Gratitude in a grand way!! A thought born in 2009, became what we now know as DeePositive Intertainment in 2010!!

We needed to make this day special… and so, we’re choosing this day to ANNOUNCE… “Santa Workshop” a DeePositive initiative to spread the joy of RECEIVING!!

Our intention is to, RECEIVE 1,00,000 gifts from the people who can GIVE to 1,00,000 people around Delhi NCR who will be SURPRISED to RECEIVE a GIFT this Christmas!

A Diwali experiment confirmed our resolve, this year on diwali we took a drive around parts of South Delhi distributing crackers to street children and it brought us such immeasurable joy! We truly wished we have done this for many more, irrespective of age!! The expressions on their faces, were inspired and grateful for to them a BOX of crackers meant more than left over sweets! To a child, the excitement of crackers is what symbolizes the celebration of Diwali!!

So our gift to many children this year for Christmas… is a present from Santa… the Santa within us to the Santa they have only seen on billboards and in newspaper pictures! Santa Workshop is an idea, a tiny nudge in the direction of reviving the understanding that GIVING is RECEIVING!! J A ripple of Gratitude!!

A noble cause… YES!! With a memory that makes it even more special… a story of our own! As children brought up by a single parent, our childhood years were filled with longing to receive presents. The presents we ever wanted were simple… A packet of colours on Holi, for Diwali it was crackers and for Christmas… we would hope that Santa would leave us a present under our scrawny tree! I guess, just someone, a stranger… with a special PRESENT just for us… with our names on it! Now, 27 years later, as a brand, DeePositive has chosen this as our first STEP forward in our TERRIFIC TWO’s to being Dedicated to doing our bit to make it possible for others to RECEIVE a token of surprise on a day about RECEIVING!!

We feel that Christmas Giving needn’t be restricted to children… for at any age… there is a CHILD within who loves to get a present… so, we made a list of people who we’d like to share a token of appreciation and a surprise with…

Street Children, Orphans, Metro Station Staff working the Christmas Shift, Bus Drivers and Conductors on Santa’s City Route, Shelters for the homeless, People sweeping our streets, they do a thankless job!, Police personnel on the Santa’s City Route, Children of construction workers, Slum areas on Santa’s City Route, Old Age homes, Centres for the terminally ill… these we’ll confirm as we continue to build the list… and update you too!!

The Idea feels fantastic; we KNOW we would like to include anyone and everyone who extends an arm… to GIVE to be a part of a LARGE community of GIVERS!! We’re asking for little gifts that will make a large impact, when given TOGETHER!!

I fast… We Feast: Learning of the day about LACK!!

It is beautiful to keep learning with each day I continue to be a good RECEIVER!! I understand at a deeper level, that there is an INNER HEALING that is first brought to the surface through things I experience, during my day!! And as the healing is complete… the learning is revealed!!

Looks like, this journey is destined to do special things in my life… and the lives that IT CHOOSES to DRAW unto itself!! It is moving that every word, that is drawn into the initiative, is channeled with a purpose, far greater than just the word!! A new revealing about the ACTIVE reason why I feel LACK… and through GRATITUDE in the feasting, A new celebration of the variation of vibration and meaning, which I guess is the REASON why each of our experiences with the text draws our own UNIQUE experiences!!

Just feel the gratitude of the HINTS in status messages… that have TRIED to draw my attention at an earlier time!!! A deeper quest was on… that has brought me to this absolutely astounding MOMENT in time… as I write this… I am also listening to the EMPOWERING HYMN of SURRENDER to GOD’s divine abundance in my life “In His Time”

I was scrolling down my profile… to find the status message… and here’s what all I found… yay!!

So true for today!! While I wanted to FEAST in the ABUNDANT by birth, it came wrapped in feelings and situations WHERE LACK OF really stood taller than my feeling of ABUNDANCE!!!

Then again, I felt HURT, betrayed, sad, upset … CRAVING to WANT to FEEL GOOD!! I realised for once, the SOURCES for my feeling bad were PEOPLE, external SOURCES. WOW!! What an INSIGHT!!! Left me smiling, as I put the KNOW ALLOW ACCEPT MANIFEST into ACTION!! I ALLOWED all sources of LACK, ACCEPTED all sources of LACK!!

The MANIFESTED truth… that over the last couple of weeks, SOURCE has been guiding me, preparing me for this new lesson… and TODAY finally it is REVEALED, that GRATITUDE had drawn my attention to ABUNDANCE, but for me to really LIVE IT… I needed to KNOW the WHY IT WASN’T in Effect HAPPENING… RIGHT NOW… as I complete this post… I KNOW I AM HEALED OF MY LACK!! I have ALLOWED GOD’s LOVE to SHOW ME WHY… I have ACCEPTED the LESSON and released the BLOCKS!! All set to MANIFEST a new NOW for myself and ALL THAT IS!!

I KNOW the WHY OF PEOPLE!! In Gratitude to ALL THAT IS for ALL THAT IS!!

I ALLOW a new awareness a new direction!! Gratitude to ALL THAT IS for ALL THAT IS!!

I ACCEPT a new THOUGHT a New HEALING a New REVEALTION to fill my KNOWING!! In Gratitude to ALL THAT IS for ALL THAT IS!!

And CELEBRATE the HEALING as the MANIFESTED joy of my life!!

Since I began writing my first book last year in April, I kept looking for the RIGHT editor, the RIGHT time, the RIGHT campaign, the RIGHT million other things!

Then this morning when I woke up, all I was hearing in my head is “Make an E-Book and release it!!” and so, like the many times in my life, that I have acted on prompt alone, I present to you MY FIRST book, K.A.A.M the power manifesting tool, that is a book presented through me, yet comes from the SOURCE of WHO I AM!! A book that in fact has only been written by me. The content, the energy of this book is governed by the ALL KNOWING and I feel blessed to have been chosen to share it!!

A year of being DeePositive :))

When I decided a year ago that I did want to get into business, the business of creating memories, people call events, on my own. All I had was a thought…DeePositive… over a period of a year, the thought became the brand we now know as DeePositive Intertainment. A perfect example of thought become thing, really, and proof that THOUGHT DO BECOME THINGS

I have had the power of Gratitude to ALL THAT IS for ALL THAT IS, reveal to me some truly powerful content that became the baby steps I could confidently walk on to getting to where my reality meets my dream

There have also been extremely powerful situations that have STOPPED me short and revealed to me how my faith can sometimes become so weak that my knees totter!! I have had the voice of my EGO compare my work to that of others and suddenly my world shrinks, I am thinking a million thoughts and each one of them brings me down and tries to hold me down, I can remember a few….

“Maybe I have less work!! x, y or z is doing so much better than I”,

“How well, he/she is doing!! In comparison I am not doing too well at all!!!”

“She writes so much better than I do, no one reads my posts or comments on my blog or for that matter, is active active on my facebook page as I would like them to be”.

“Damn… the bank balance is dwindling and there are still payments to be made, even if it is to myself”

“If I have been honest in my work with other’s, why is it, that I have people crawling and wanting to draw blood from my energy”

Just reading these lines of thought creates and intense feeling from within that isn’t making me feel the power of the DeePositive ME I chose consciously to be. Yet, these are some of the thoughts that I deal with each day of living the new life I’ve promised myself

It is such a brilliant to KNOW that these are the thoughts that have helped me STOP in my tracks and take out QUIET time to RE-ENERGISE my DeePositive philosophy. On a lighter note… the moment I move away from Gratitude for the present moment, my powerful subconscious me finds a way to BRING ME STRAIGHT back to a good feeling place and begin again.

It has been an incredible life experience following my instincts ONE at a time… ALLOWING them to lead me ON. Often times, I come across as impulsive and unpredictable!! Yet I know that it’s the ONLY way I am always ME!!! I can stay still enough to LISTEN now.. and when I stress… I KNOW I’ve been talking too much

My secret wish is to share enough that each person I know may begin to radiate this same knowingness… with AWARENESS that every direction leads to your BEST INTEREST… in ACCORDANCE with ALLOWING!!!
